One week in the woods with me

I'm going camping with my kids for a week...... so I shant be posting anything all week!

Where we're camping

I'll be sure to post plenty o' pix on Facebook..... are we Facebook friends? If not Friend me!

Oh, and I'm the "t-shirt mom" for the boy scout troop. We have a close friend who is a screen printer, so he always gives us a good deal. The troop got dark "forest" green shirts, but for the hot mommas..... we got moss green "Bella" shirts, cut for our curves. (BTW..... this Momma's shirt size: MEDIUM.... I'm still having a hard time adjusting to this!)

Watch out Boy Scouts........ tripletmomma is coming to camp!

Did you know this?

I was speaking to my lap-band surgeon today before I got my fill, and we discussed that it was noted that I had 10cc in my band, but only 8.5cc came out.

He told me that lap-bands generally lose .5-1cc per YEAR, and that's normal.

Did you know? I did not!

Now we do!

Help needed

Hey all!

I have a friend, Deb, who is walking the 3-Day:

If you have even $1.00, can you please help Deb walk the 3-Day AND help in the fight for Breast Cancer?

Thank you!

After Surgery - Some PIX!

So, I got myself a new full length mirror at IKEA before surgery, lucky me, it works well for pictures too!

Here I am in that bikini I bought.... let's do try to remember that I HAVEN'T had my lower body lift / thigh lift yet......

I should also mention that I am holding my DRAIN in my left hand (your right) Have I complained about my drain? No? Well....... I cannot WAIT to get this fucker out! I'm so done with it! I'm getting it out on Thursday this week, and will happy say GOODBYE!

Look at that TEENY waist... currently measuring 29" So I'm a "37, 29, 38" right now....

 Look at that flat tummy!

No, I'm totally not sucking it in!

 Here's the tummy tuck scar......
Arm scar is healing...... the other one still has bandages
My only bruising AT ALL during this surgery was on my thigh...... I was stunned!
There's that damn drain...... sticking right out of my hip. ARGH!
And pages back in this blog, I mentioned my high school ring, and how I doubt it would ever fit again..... AHEM and Ta-Da!!

Do you make your bed every day? Tell us about or show us a picture of your bed comforter?
I do make my bed everyday, unless me or the hubby is too sick & staying in bed. I've been making it daily for at least 6-7 years, it helps "start" my day, and that way, anytime I go back into my room during the day, it reminds me that at LEAST my bed is made!

2. Johnny Cash or Elvis? Thin crust pizza or deep dish? Coke or Pepsi? Beer or wine or neither?

Johnny Cash

No pizza.... not only is it band-unfriendly, I'm gluten-free as well. Have you had gluten-free pizza or bread for that matter? Yeah..... breads aren't an easy re-make in the gluten free world. So, since I can't jam most of that shit past my band anyway..... I just refrain! I will steal pepperoni slices from hot pizza though!

Diet Coke.... though I haven't drank soda in over 2 years. I follow that band rule.

Wine. There's only one tasty gluten-free beer (Redbridge) and since I don't drink carbonated drinks...... well, that leaves me with wine. We make our own, since I also don't do sulfites well (OMG.... I'm **THAT** person...... shoot me now) My favorite wines are Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, Soave. We usually make WineExpert kits, and they're yummy! They used to make a fabulous Trebbiano, but they discontinued it.

3. I recently went through my list of blogs I follow and was at my limit so I unfollowed bloggers who haven’t blogged in at least 6 months. I want to start following some more new blogs. Who’s your fave lately? Funniest? Most inspiring? Can you link them for me??

I do love Jack Sh*t:

4. Repeat question: Summarize your week in blog land and in real life.

I've been uploading pix of before/after surgery lately...... dealing with drains, compression garments, and soreness. Going to call the doctor tomorrow for a refill on either Vicodin or traMADol..... whichever she's friendlier about :)

BEFORE plastic surgery pictures - Arm Lift, Tummy Lift

So, here's my arms........ look how hangy!

Not sure if you can tell, but I actually have my arms turned, so you can see where the doctor SHOULD cut. She cut exactly there..... can't wait to take pix (I still have a drain in, so patience is needed, I'm not taking pix with a tube sticking out of my hip!)

It might be flabby....... but it's rockin'...... hence, I'm throwin' the goat!

A side view of hangy squirrel arms..... pretty icky

No.. I'm NOT sticking out my gut. That's all hanging tummy :(

I'm pulling it out, to prove to you that I'm not sticking out my gut :)

Just yucky

See that little arch there about 3-4 inches above my belly button? That was my port. Did I mention that I got a port revision? I got the low-profile port, and it has been recessed back, to sit level with my muscle, so it doesn't stick out and say HELLO!

Leaning forward..... Flabby AND Hangy!

Lovely side view of same....... BTW.... that tattoo on my hip?? Yup..... all gone!

More surgery pix!

Here comes a few new pix........ don't laugh at my underwear!

Here's me with my "garments" on....... I have to wear a t-shirt under them, cuz I have sensitive skin. I **am** the original princess and the pea!

Blurry....... but look at that TINY midsection (not to mention, nice booby profile!!)

Look, that scar is starting to heal/fade already! Have I mentioned that I LOVE my surgeon?

Oh..... and here's a picture of my boobies!!

WELL....... that's what I **think** they look like now!
No complaints from me, I my new boobs!

Philly Swirl - How I love thee..... let me count the ways!

Sweet, wonderful, darling Philly Swirl has brought to market yet another FINE frozen treat!

It's FAT free!
It's SUGAR free!
It's GLUTEN free!!

A mere 14 calories per bar! I can have a vanilla ice cream, and Raspberry / Cherry / Orange swirl.

Tastes VERY good! A little small, but HEY for 14 calories, it's bigger than I thought it would be!

For my Weight Watcher Point counters: a tiny 1/4 point!

I love these guys! I remember writing to them YEARS ago about their SF ices, and one of the owners wrote back to me PERSONALLY, to thank me! How's that for customer care?!

Here's momma, enjoying a Cherry treat!

If I had ONE TEENSY complaint: I have an "issue" with wood popcicle sticks, and tongue depressors. They make me GAG. Something about wood touching my teeth gives me the heebie-jeebies.

I used to love those plastic popcicle sticks that had holes in them, and you could build stuff out of them? I would love a LPDE (I think that's what it's called..... recyclable #4) popcicle stick, I can't possibly be the only weirdo out there that gets nervous about wood in my mouth? (ok..... there's a REALLY obvious joke there, go ahead, say it, and have yourself a good laugh!)

That goes for BBQ skewers as well. I use metal, else I have to pull all the food off and eat with utensils. ::::::shiver:::::::

Feeling good enough to have margaritas with a friend (however..... momma hasn't had a sugary drink in YEARS..... who pooped ALL NIGHT?? yup.....)
