I'm afraid to eat!

OK...... I'm supposed to start mushy food today. I was looking forward to it for FIVE weeks.

And, here I sit. With a protein shake in hand, afraid to eat.

I'm ready to try.... but honestly, I'm scared.


  1. Don't be scared Karen!! I've been on mushies for a week and I promise not once have I felt weird, or stuck or anything. I started with 1/2 cup tuna fish and mayo (actually miracle whip light). Just eat slowly and chew. It's amazing!! You can also start with refried beans and/or mashed potatoes. Both easy to eat. I promise you'll be happier. Let me know how it goes!

    I know the feeling I totally looked forward to mushies all week long and even had the hubby make me some of his famous mushed potatoe salad and there I sat just looking and wondering if I could really eat this...but 6 days later and mushies are the best...I'll worry about the fear of solids till the weekend ( AHHHH !!)
